For the revolutionary supporters who oppose the rule of the military council, the Department of Political Science of Wunzin Online University would like to introduce a Diploma Program that will be launched in the last week of March. In the current situation in Myanmar, the people of Myanmar are becoming more interested in politics. Unlike in the past, every man and woman, young and old, is interested in politics and is constantly studying political science through various means despite the oppression of the military regime. What goes hand in hand with politics is governance. The federal unitary governments and various administrative organizations that are currently in revolution throughout Myanmar are operating many public service functions such as military, administration, diversity management, finance, and justice. As the political climate of the Burmese people has changed with the Spring Revolution, human resources management is particularly needed where each individual citizen can play their part in building the federal democratic system that the ethnic people desire.
Public administration itself is a subject that every citizen living in a democratic country, regardless of race or religion, should know, and we strive to improve our leadership, governance, public policy, and public administration capabilities. Our democratic supporters also need to prepare for this in advance. Only then can this Diploma course help us to fully participate in the administrative work of serving the people during and after the revolution to build a state oriented towards a federal democratic system and to strengthen our society. .
This Diploma in Public Administration course, offered by the Department of Political Science, Wunzin Online University, is aimed at those who are involved in the field of administration, those who want to participate, those who want to serve in the administrative apparatus in the future federal union, as well as those who want to acquire the necessary knowledge to effectively manage local public affairs. Those currently involved in various administrative processes of the revolutionary groups, office staff of the various ethnic revolutionary administrative groups, and employees of the federal unitary governments are eligible to attend. In addition, CDM students who passed the matriculation examination before the military coup, students who passed BECA, high school graduates from ethnic area-based educational institutions, CDM university students, CDM teachers, GED/IGCSE graduates, CDM employees, and anyone interested in public administration and who can promise to attend the 9-month course from start to finish without fail are eligible to attend. Commitment requires full payment.
What is the Department of Political Science, Wanxing Online University doing? Wanxing Online University, Department of Political Science was launched in 2023 and opened the 18-month Diploma in Political Science (Batch-1). Until mid-2025, we are moving forward with zero visibility for the safety of teachers and students. We have also opened political science certificate courses. Currently, the Department of Political Science has been preparing for more than 2 years to open a sub-class such as the Diploma in Public Administration for revolutionary forces. In addition, we are working to continue to open other courses related to politics and relevant to the current situation.
Who will teach? The professors who will teach will be teachers who have a good understanding of government administration and have been teaching CDM for at least 10 years. There will be at least two professors per module, as well as standby teaching assistance. There will be 10 professors for (8) modules (depending on the teachers’ availability). In addition, teachers who have completed international administrative education, as well as officials from federal unit governments, ministries, and ethnic administrative institutions will be invited to teach the course in accordance with the practical situation. Scholarship All admitted students will receive a full scholarship provided by the Department of Political Science, Wanxing Online University.
Diploma Course/ Precourse Students must attend the Foundation course to be eligible for the Diploma course. Certificates will be awarded upon completion. Details can be found in the handbook. Classroom and platform - Classes are taught through online platforms. Face to Face. Camera required (some exceptions may apply). Teaching style The Banking Model is taught by the teacher and the Problem-Posing Model is used, which requires discussion and reading skills. Timetable- Classes will start on or after 23.3.2026 and will last 9 months, with 7 months of training and 2 months of research. The courses offered by WOU are intended for students, teachers, and staff of the revolutionary party, ethnic group, democratic party, and CDM. Therefore, applicants must confirm that they are * an ethnic group or CDM or democratic party member and fill in all required information correctly. If any false information is found, WOU will reject the application. • Be able to compare and analyze the governmental structures, political processes, and foreign policy choices of neighboring countries, including Myanmar. • Be able to use the concepts of international studies to discuss and present contemporary world issues with critical thinking and reasoning. Tuition Fees • 120,000 Kyats per student (first and second semesters combined). Course Registration ✓ Interested candidates who are interested in attending this diploma course must fill out the Google Form https://edu.nugmyanmar.org/DISregisterform by 03-02-2026 (Tuesday).
✓ Those who are eligible to attend will be notified via email via the Google Form. ✓ To request a letter of recommendation, 1) A letter of recommendation can be obtained from a CDM teacher or staff member stating that they are a CDM student. 2) A letter of recommendation from a CDM member stating that they have no direct involvement/support with a terrorist group. 3) A letter of recommendation from the relevant department can be submitted to prove that they are a CDM student (dismissal letter, recognition letter). 4) A letter of recommendation from the relevant department can be submitted if they are a contributor to a department of the National Unity Government. 10 outstanding students (10% of the total number of students) who are interested but have difficulty paying tuition fees will be granted a tuition fee waiver.
The first (5%) of those who apply will be granted a tuition fee waiver.

Applications are now open for the Associate Degree in Social Science at Karenni College of Social Sciences for the academic year 2026-2027.
